A Walk Through HistoryGreenbelt's Victory Gardens and Farmers MarketIf you're looking for something more to do while visiting the Greenbelt Farmers Market, we would like to suggest you take our Walk Through History walking tour. Highlights include visiting the Farmers Market, browsing shops at the Roosevelt Center, visiting the Greenbelt Community Gardens (formerly actual World War 2 Victory Gardens), and ending your walk with a tour of the Greenbelt Museum and its demonstration garden.
Start your tour at the Information Booth at the Greenbelt Farmers Market where you can get a copy of the walking tour postcard. This walking tour is a joint project between the Greenbelt Farmers Market and the Greenbelt Museum. It has been made possible in part through a Maryland Heritage Area grant. |
